Hello Joensuu

Guiding Tour

Through Joensuu

Tuesday the 25th

After some presentations about Finnland some of the Students took us to a guiding tour through Joensuu. The three of us and Mrs. Krall were taken through Joensuu with some of the students, so that they learn how to make such guiding tours. We have to say that they did a good job. They did choose a interesting route and explained it very well. They showed us a Hotel, some night clubs and the shopping mall also a little totally cute place were you can buy self made things.

Sadly that was the last day Mrs. Krall was with us. We had a very nice time and a lot of fun with her. After we finished our "school day" we said goodbye to Mrs. Krall and went to the City center to drink a coffee and hot chocolate in a total lovely place.
Goodbye Mrs. Krall it was a nice time!
Thank you 😊

Wednesday the 26th

Normal Lesson Time...
With math, finish and physical education...
This day was the only day that was of no earthly use... The teacher didn't talked to us... We were just sitting in the class and doing nothing.
That day was just going by totally slow and we were happy when our day ended...

Plans for the evening?
Yes.
Two of us went with people from our accommodation to a lake. With a Campfire, sausages and to have a happy time but...
It really was a great idea but it didn't worked as imagined.

Thursday the 27th

And let's go to the next day!
Today we had a new teacher. He planed to go with us and the whole class to a Hotel. He prepared every thing in english also the guidance through the hotel was in English. The women from the reception who give us the guidance did a really good job. She told us a lot about the hotel and also answered a lot of questions. It was really interesting.

Friday the 28th

Today we took a look how the students learning the Service things in this school.
In the canteen the students layed the table for the other students. When the other students come to have their lunch they get served the drinks (water or milk, they had three different types of milk) and when the students leave the tables the plates were cleared away. And that's how they learn. Learning by doing. It was interesting to see in what different way they learn.

Greetings from the three girls in Finland
Melanie, Tamara & Lisa
